About Me

Connor Krohn is a Cleveland, Ohio-born stage and screen actor. He studies contemporary and classical acting at Baldwin Wallace University and has played many roles in and out of college. The most notable production he has appeared in is Our Possessions, a short film for the Cleveland 48 Hour Horror Project.

Connor’s journey started very young, playing a lead role in a middle school production of Almost History: That Whole Space Time Continuum Thing by Treanor Baring. The show interrupted his seven-year swimming career and inadvertently threw him into a world of song, dance, and show. He trained and played as a character actor, taking his skills off stage to indulge in fantasy hobbies like Dungeons & Dragons, the perfect outlet for his newfound creative power.

Today, Connor still works in the Cleveland 48 Hour Film Project (both Summer 48 and Horror 48) while continuing to hone his skills as a full-time student actor. He's currently in rehearsal for "Solyony" in Anton Chekhov's, Three Sisters directed by David Alford. The show is a part of Baldwin Wallace's spring play season, April 24th through the 27th, 2025.
Acting is behaving truthfully under imaginary circumstances.”

The most transformative experience in Connor’s actor training came from the production Dread Fascination. Told through the amalgamation of different horror and fantasy works about the fear of what lies beyond, the show threw away the concept of “roles” and simply referred to the cast as a company. The understudies were not true understudies; they were swings for the rest of the company.

Connor’s space in the production was one such understudy, taking up the mantle of learning his part and two others for the performance. It was intense, complex, and different from any other show he had been a part of. That difference in storytelling infused him with a love for plays that were equal parts evocative and experimental in nature.
